Tsuba - signed "Ikkansai Minryu + kao" (Omote side) and "Kore o shozo Jushuku + kao" (Ura side). Ikkansai Minryu was the hereditary pseudonym of the Kunitomo Ikkansai lineage of gunsmiths. Jushuku was their 10th generation master and the inscription “kore o shozo” suggests that this is his first attempt at making a Tsuba.

Fuchi-Kashira - signed "Ichikawa Teruchika" (H 09557.0), Awa Province, ca. 1825. Student of Nomura Masahide.
